Your journey begins with the discovery of the mysterious Imlili lakes. This spectacular depression, surrounded by sandy dunes, is home to dozens of pockets of salt water. It’s a strange sight to observe this series of small lakes in the heart of the desert, especially as they are teeming with unique little fish.
The day continues with lunch on Puerto Rico’s white sandy beaches, a heavenly place for relaxation. You will then have the opportunity to climb the famous Dune Blanche, a site rich in change of scenery where you can also swim in the crystal-clear waters of the lagoon. On the way back, a wellness stop awaits you at the Source d’Asma. Bored into the water table, this spring gushes out natural sulphurous thermal water at 38°C, renowned for its therapeutic virtues; the perfect opportunity for an invigorating shower in the middle of the desert.

Discovery focus: Dune Blanche
If you’re looking for a shorter getaway, Dakhla has plenty to offer, the most emblematic of which is a visit to the famous Dune Blanche. Situated in a strong wind corridor, this imposing dune remains mysteriously immobile despite its aerodynamic shape sculpted by the elements, making it unique in the world. The visit is made via a 4X4 tour through Moroccan tracks. Once there, you can take advantage of the grandiose setting to admire the panorama or bathe at the foot of this monument of sand.
